Le pont Patton s’inscrit dans le projet du « Pôle d’échange multimodal de la gare d’Ettelbruck ». L’ouvrage d’art est destiné à prioriser les bus, et offre un gabarit adéquat pour la mobilité douce et augmente le gabarit ferroviaire pour être en conformité avec les nouvelles normes CFL. Le nouveau pont Patton est un ouvrage mixte en acier-béton à trois travées d’une longueur totale de 175 m. La géométrie principale de l’ouvrage a été définie par rapport à l’axe de la voirie.
The Patton bridge is part of the “Multimodal interchange hub at Ettelbruck train station” project. It is intended to prioritize buses, and offers an adequate gauge for soft mobility and increases the rail gauge to comply with the new CFL standards. The new Patton Bridge is a three-span composite steel-concrete structure with a total length of 175 m. The main geometry of the structure was defined in relation to the axis of the road.
