Dans la basse-cour du château de Vianden, le Service des sites et monuments nationaux a fait installer un Centre d’information, qui héberge une exposition permanente sur l’histoire du site, son développement et les moult phases de construction et de déconstruction du château. Les seigneurs de Vianden y ont leur place, de même que les outils nécessaires à la création d’un des plus impressionnants édifices de notre région. Longue de dix stations, suspendue au-dessus de vestiges archéologiques et suivant l’ancien chemin de ronde, le visiteur est mené vers une grande projection audiovisuelle, point final de ce nouvel espace didactique.
In the courtyard of Vianden Castle, the Service des sites et monuments nationaux has had an Information Center set up, which houses a permanent exhibition on the history of the site, its development and the many phases of construction and deconstruction of the castle. The lords of Vianden have their place there, as well as the tools necessary to create one of the most impressive buildings in our region. Ten stations long, suspended above archaeological remains and following the old walkway, the visitor is led to a large audiovisual projection, the final point of this new didactic space.
