Le concept pour l’installation des nouveaux columbaires sur le cimetière de Bergem devait s’éloigner du traditionnel principe de « mur à columbaires » abritant les niches funéraires. L’ensemble forme un paysage vert en lévitation qui devient interface entre le monde « ci-bas et l’au-delà ».

he concept for the installation of the new columbariums on the cemetery of Bergem had to move away from the traditional principle of “wall with columbaria” sheltering the funerary niches. The whole forms a green landscape in levitation which becomes an interface between the world “below and the beyond”.
