Installée sur le site des anciens abattoirs municipaux, la Kulturfabrik s’étend sur une superficie de 4 500 m2. Les bâtiments combinent l’esthétique fin XIXe siècle avec l’architecture industrielle de l’entre-deux guerres.

The Kulturfabrik now stands on the site of the former municipal abattoirs, spanning some 4,500m2. The buildings themselves are designed to combine the aesthetics of the 19th century with the industrial architecture of the interwar period.
