VIA MOSEL OAI

GB A winery located on a slope, which unites architecture and functionality. The hillside location is beneficial, as in that way grape delivery during the harvest takes place behind the winery. In that way, grapes are gently conveyed into the press using no- thing but gravity. Other advantages come from the fact that most of the cellar is situated underground, which makes for a very constant temperature and humidity, perfect for fermenting as well as aging and storing wine. The administration area as well as tasting facilities and a wine shop can be found on the upper floor. The generously proportioned terrace with a water basin, which visually merges almost seamlessly with the water surface of the Moselle River, as well as the impressive tower, which is reminiscent of the funnel that transports the grapes into the wine press, round off the building.
