The layout of the volumes, the play between recesses and projections, the distribution of green spaces in front of and on the build- ing allow a discreet insertion into the environment. L’ancienne porte Hiel construite sous l’ingénieur militaire Vauban en 1685, offre aujourd’hui un espace d’accueil, cinq bureaux et une salle de réunion, est occupé par le Centre de documentation sur la forteresse de Luxembourg, gérant le musée Draï Eechelen.
